Brooke offers a caring and supportive online therapy service. She focuses on issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, building healthy relationships and more. Her goal is to help you uncover your inner strength, self-esteem, and sense of self-worth, supporting you in reconnecting with your intuition and moving beyond what no longer serves you.

Working primarily from a person-centred perspective, Brooke leaves all assumptions, judgments, and personal opinions at the door. Creating a safe and open space for you to be your most authentic self is essential. Utilizing integrated therapeutic theories, Brooke draws from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, feminist therapy, and solution-focused therapy, all of which harmonize beautifully with person-centred therapy. What does this actually mean?

Every experience in your life will influence our approach to your goals. This means examining the narratives you tell yourself, your automatic thoughts, and their effects on you. Each of these thought patterns has played a role in getting you to this point; together, we will delve into what you believe might be holding you back or causing distress. We may incorporate some cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to help you alter negative and unhelpful thoughts. I’ll assist you in recognizing your strengths, valuable traits, and attributes.

Brooke has a diverse background as a volunteer crisis responder, educator, creative entrepreneur, and IT professional. Graduating in May (2025) with a diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling, she draws on years of life experience and developed skills that contribute to her open, empathetic, and creative perspective. Her work spans 25 years across various settings, with an emphasis on collaboration, respect, empathy, patience, and critical thinking while anticipating the needs of both colleagues and clients. She believes that everyone can evolve into the best version of themselves with support and a willingness to grow and change.

As a new graduate, Brooke is working toward the designation of Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada, also known as ACCT. She is currently focused on completing her direct client hours and supervision hours to apply for RTC candidate status. She is working with a supervisor who meets ACCT’s high standards for experience, skill, and education. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
